FAQs

How long have you been shooting weddings?
Almost 7 years and counting!

Do you edit all your pictures?
Yes, all the pictures are edited for perfect exposure, cropping & colour balance.  You will also receive some b&w, sepia & different colour tone pictures at no extra cost. We will also get rid of any noticeable blemishes that may be in your photographs.

Will you give me a high resolution DVD of the images?
You will receive an email with a link and a password where you can download all the high-res images. You will also receive a DVD or USB of all the images as long as it is included in your package.

Do you offer albums?
Yes, I offer a range of custom designed hardbound coffee-table photo books along with a selection of other a la carte products.

Do you post the photographs online?
Yes, I generally will post almost every shoot on my blog.

My wedding isn’t in Vancouver. Will you travel?
Yes! I love to travel and am available worldwide. Let me know where you are and we’ll figure out the best way to get me out to you.

How soon after the wedding do we see our images?
About 30-40 of images will be blogged within a week after the wedding. The rest of the images will be ready within 4-6 weeks online and also for pickup. Pictures for any other shoots or events (birthdays, engagements etc.) will be ready in 2 weeks.

How far in advance should we book?
Typically 6-18 months in advance as soon as you have a date and venue. We are always getting inquiring 1-2 years in advance. But not to worry, you can always contact me and check for availability.

When should I schedule my maternity/newborn sessions?
30-36 weeks for maternity shots. You want to be big enough to get some great shots of you tummy but not too big that you’re uncomfortable. For newborn shots the best time is within the first 4 weeks of birth.

Where will my photo session take place?
Majority of the sessions take place at an outdoor location of your choice. We also have a studio setup for indoor shooting.

What should I wear?
A variety of clothing is great and more than one outfit is fine as well.  Whatever you feel comfortable in is fine! Try to avoid logos or busy patterns that may be distracting.

Can I bring my own props?
Yes of course, I have a variety of different props  but feel free to bring anything you’d like in the photos and we will try to incorporate them all.
